Pierluigi Giachi and his family, to celebrate the 300th anniversary of our winery (1720-2020) have created this project to save 7300 centenary olive trees in our properties around Florence, from which excellent Tuscan oil is produced every year.
Our goal is to financially support these ancient trees that need intensive labor and workmanship in order to maintain the their environmental survival in the future.
Why Adopting A tree
You will have the opportunity to adopt one or more olive trees, for ONE, THREE or FIVE years.
You will contribute to the care and maintenance of these precious plants. Each olive tree makes a great contribution to the environment with a great absorption of CO2, and by keeping the olive trees in optimal conditions we could continue to enjoy their extra virgin olive oil with unique properties, as well as keeping intact the beauty of the Tuscan olive groves and to BECOME AN ITALIAN FARMER.
You will be able to follow or to make the cleaning operations, the pruning, an ancient art essential for its preservation, the flowering and the birth of olives.
You will receive a certificate of adoption for each plant adopted in which you can name your tree(s) and commemorated with an engraved plaque featuring the name of each tree and your family name.
